Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was one of India’s most influential freedom fighters, known for his bold leadership, military strategies, and unwavering commitment to achieving independence. 📌 Early Life & Education :
✅ January 23, 1897 – Born in Cuttack, Odisha, to Janakinath Bose and Prabhavati Devi.
✅ 1913 – Joins Presidency College, Kolkata, but is expelled for opposing British rule.
✅ 1919 – Moves to England to prepare for the Indian Civil Services (ICS) exam.
✅ 1920 – Clears ICS but resigns, choosing to dedicate his life to India’s freedom struggle.
📌 Entry into Freedom Movement:
✅ 1921 – Returns to India, joins the Indian National Congress (INC) under Mahatma Gandhi.
✅ 1923 – Becomes President of the All India Youth Congress and editor of Forward Bloc.
✅ 1928 – Opposes Gandhi’s non-violent approach, advocating complete independence from British rule.
✅ 1930 – Arrested for civil disobedience; spends multiple years in British prisons.
📌 Escape from India & Formation of the INA:
✅ 1941 – Escapes house arrest in disguise; travels through Afghanistan, Russia, and Germany.
✅ 1942 – Meets Hitler in Germany, seeks support for India's freedom.
✅ 1943 – Travels to Japan; assumes command of the Indian National Army (INA).
✅ October 21, 1943 – Forms the Provisional Government of Azad Hind in Singapore.
